Sad there's no mention of the Aaton Penelope; one of the reason The Hurt Locker looked so amazing is due not just to their film-origination format, but to the superior registration, and 'micor-registration' that the Aaton cameras offer. Do yourselves a favor ACS people, keep all film tools in the conversation and efforts for excellence!

"Sedlmeier believes one of the reasons is that high definition has become a standard for Australian productions, and 16mm is not good enough for HD."

Maybe he can tell Kathryn Bigelow that 16mm isn't good enough for HD. Somwhow though it was good enough for cinema and a few oscars. "The wrestler" is another recent example of 16mm not being good enough. Get your facts right.
