Familiar names will compete at Tropfest 2010
Damon Gameau, Pia Miranda and Matilda Brown made the cut as finalists for this year’s Tropfest.
Gameau (Balibo, Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities) was short-listed for the film One…, co-directed with Gareth Davies; Miranda co-produced and appeared in the mockumentary Nic & Shauna.
Matilda Brown, the 22-year old daughter of Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward, is also a finalist for her film How God Works.
The 16 finalists were chosen from a pool of more than 1000 entries, and they are:

Tropfest will take place on February 21 at The Domain in Sydney. It will be screened live at venues in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Surfers Paradise, Perth, Hobart and Adelaide.
